So coming to the point Grand Theft Auto VI is now set to be released on May 26, 2026. Rockstar Games has written an apology for the delaying on the release and quoted in their official post on Rockstar Games website. The quote is mentioned as follow;

"Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to be released on May 2026. 

We are very sorry that this is later than you expected. The interest and excitment surrounding a new Grand Theft Auto has been truly humbling for our entire team. We want to thank you for your support and patience as we work to finish the game.

With every game we have released, the goal has always been to try and exceed your expectations, and Grand Theft Auto VI is no exception. We hope you understand that we need this extra time to deliver at the level of quality you expect and deserve.

 PLOT AND STORYLINE:

Grand Theft Auto 6 is an upcoming action-adventure game  developed and published by Rockstar Games. If we calculate the number of released, this is the eight Rockstar Games following the storyline of Grand Theft Auto V (2013), and the sixteen entry overall.

Grand Theft Auto is an open world game, its fictional based on Florida (US State of Leonida) which includes Vice City. The story follows a criminal couple: Jason Duval, who used to be working for local drugrunners in the Leonida Keys after serving in the army; and Lucia Caminos, the series first non optional female protagonist, who was imprisoned in Leonida jail after fighting for her family from the time o Liberty City following a faild bank heist.
